Overview

The Senior Operations and Design Associate plays a key leadership role in overseeing the end-to-end execution of staging initiatives, operational logistics, and administrative workflows across Altree Developments. The role requires strong project management, vendor supervision, design execution, and cross-departmental coordination, supporting both development projects and corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Design Project Leadership: Lead full-cycle staging operations for residential development projects, including concept development, sourcing, budgeting, and execution
  • Prepare and manage detailed staging budgets per suite; monitor procurement and cost control across projects
  • Source and catalog furnishings, décor, and materials to maintain and grow the in-house inventory
  • Coordinate trades, delivery schedules, and vendor installations to align with project timelines and show readiness
  • Negotiate vendor pricing and maintain trade relationships to maximize value and secure preferred service
  • Manage simultaneous staging across multiple units to ensure timely completion for showings, marketing, and sales use
  • Provide tailored design support for executive or personal suites, including those directly requested by executive leadership
  • Complete additional design-related tasks as directed by management
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth coordination with external vendors, trades, and service providers
  • Manage basic IT issues in coordination with external technical support
  • Maintain procurement systems and inventory for office supplies, design materials, and site needs across departments
  • Support internal team initiatives, including planning and coordinating employee engagement and team-building events
  • Facilitate onboarding of new hires, including workstation setup, orientation logistics, and welcome coordination
  • Ensure corporate and site-based office aesthetics align with brand identity and are consistently maintained
  • Complete other operational tasks as assigned
  • Administrative & Client-Facing Support: Provide front desk coverage during peak or absent periods to maintain continuity of guest service
  • Manage courier and mail logistics, ensuring timely distribution and dispatch
  • Coordinate meeting logistics including document preparation, formatting, internal room bookings, and setup
  • Support general administrative flow and upkeep of client-facing spaces
  • Undertake other administrative responsibilities in support of departmental and company operations
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, project management, communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in office coordination, project operations, or design-related fields
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously under tight timelines
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional coordination and vendor supervision
  • Experience in interior staging, real estate, or hospitality is an asset but not mandatory
