Join Cumberland Council as a Senior Occupational Therapist in the Long Term Team and make a real difference in people’s lives across Cumbria. We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced professional to deliver strengths-based assessments and person-centred support to adults with care and support needs. You’ll promote independence and be responsible for holistic assessments, support planning and reviews in accordance with the Care Act, taking a strengths-based approach that promotes individuals’ independence and wellbeing. As a senior member of the team, you’ll guide and support colleagues. You’ll work with adults aged 18+ living in the community with care and support needs, including supporting their informal and formal carers as necessary. You will collaborate with a diverse range of health, social care, and third-sector organisations across the Cumberland Council footprint. You’ll need a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification, HCPC registration, and a good understanding of Adults Social Care.
