We are seeking an energetic and client-oriented Senior Network Consultant for our Calgary branch. In this role, you will build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, providing consultancy services for designing and implementing industry-leading network solutions.

A Day in the Life:
  • Develop network technology solutions to meet clients’ requirements, considering business and technical needs, sizing, existing infrastructure, data protection, security, governance, and recovery objectives.
  • Design and implement standard or custom technical solutions.
  • Participate in escalations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, replacing defective components as needed.
  • Contribute to the implementation of network and system security measures.
  • Create documentation including design diagrams, bills of materials, as-built diagrams, FAQs, and transition information.
  • Gather and analyze customer data to identify, predict, and evaluate system and network requirements.
  • Recommend improvements to systems and network configurations and determine hardware/software needs.
What You Bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in network architecture design and deployment of new network technologies.
  • Experience with network security, firewalls, and gateway technologies.
  • Knowledge of modern campus networking topologies and ability to create industry-standard network diagrams.
  • Capability to perform network assessments and provide design recommendations.
  • Experience with NAC systems like ISE or ClearPass.
  • Proficiency with firewalls, IPS/IDS, VMware SD-WAN, TCP/IP, VPNs, Data Center technologies, Cisco IOS/NXOS, Cisco Meraki, Layer 2/3 technologies, SDN, wireless, monitoring solutions, and Cisco Voice/Call Manager.
  • Ability to support after-hours requests and on-call assistance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio.

Salary: $80,455 - $100,000 per year, plus 10% variable earnings.
