Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
• Architect Dataverse data models, business rules, security roles, and automation flows.
• Develop custom connectors, integrations, and supporting Azure components as required.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot application performance, logic issues, and integration failures.
• Support solution packaging, deployment, and ALM processes.
• Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and support materials.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and support citizen developers under governance guidelines.
• Participate in platform roadmap discussions and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5+ years of development experience, including 3+ years building solutions with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), PL-600 (Solution Architect) – preferred.
• Experience with Dataverse, Azure Functions, APIs, and integration technologies.
• ITIL certification – an asset.
• Advanced skills building Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, custom connectors, and Dataverse schemas.
• Strong experience automating business processes with Power Automate.
• Ability to architect scalable Power Platform solutions using ALM and solution layers.
• Experience integrating Power Apps with SharePoint, Teams, M365, Dynamics, REST APIs, and custom services.
• Strong understanding of security roles, permissions, environment strategies, and governance.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Power Fx, C#, or other development languages.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
