Are you a strategic talent acquisition leader with a passion for technology recruitment and team development? Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – Technology for a 12-month contract to lead a high-performing team supporting our dynamic Technology business.

In this role, you’ll partner closely and report to the Director, Talent Acquisition and senior business leaders to drive transformation across our recruitment practices. You’ll lead the evolution of our hiring strategies—especially in high-demand areas like Cloud and emerging tech—ensuring we remain competitive in attracting top talent. Your leadership will empower a team of seasoned recruiters to deliver exceptional candidate experiences, build strong stakeholder relationships, and source passive talent through innovative channels.

You’ll also bring a data-driven mindset, using recruitment analytics and market intelligence to guide decision-making and proactively support business needs. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll foster a culture of growth, inclusion, and high performance—building a team that’s agile, collaborative, and future-ready.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Lead and coaching a high-performing TA team focused on Technology recruitment
  • Partner with senior leaders and HR to design and execute competitive hiring strategies
  • Drive sourcing innovation across multiple channels
  • Leverage data and insights to inform recruitment decisions and improve outcomes
  • Establish and maintaining KPIs, recruitment dashboards, and forecasting tools to measure team performance and hiring outcomes
  • Develop programs to attract talent from non-traditional, emerging, and diverse talent pools
  • Enhance process efficiency and candidate experience across the hiring journey
  • Build a culture of learning, development, and inclusion within the team
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
