Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. SAP BW Production Support:
  • Monitor and maintain SAP BW systems to ensure seamless operation of HR & Finance reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BW extractions, transformations, and reporting.
  • Provide timely resolution for production incidents and defects.
  • System Enhancement Support:
    • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements for enhancements.
    • Design, develop, and implement changes to improve SAP BW processes.
    • Perform testing and validation of new developments before deployment.
    • Provide technical assessment and consulting services when needed.
  • BW Performance Tuning:
    • Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks.
    • Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
    • Enhance query performance by implementing best practices in SAP BW.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Work closely with functional and technical teams to align solutions with business needs.
    • Document issues, resolutions, and enhancements for future reference.
    • Provide end-user training and support when necessary.
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    2. Experience: 8+ years of experience in SAP BW support and development.

    Technical Skills:

    1. Strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
    2. Experience with BW on HANA or BW/4HANA is a plus.
    3. Proficiency in BEx Query Designer, Analysis for Office, and SAP Analytics Cloud tools.
    4. Good understanding of HR and Finance data structures in SAP.
    5. Experience with ABAP for BW enhancements is an advantage.
    6. Experience with SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) on HANA is a plus.

    Soft Skills:

    1. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    2. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

    Preferred Certifications:

    1. SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BW/4HANA
