Job summary

A leading general contracting firm in Ontario is seeking a Senior HSE Coordinator for its Buildings Division. You will manage health and safety programs across multiple sites, train and mentor staff, and engage clients on safety matters. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in safety, particularly in ICI, rail, or transportation projects. Competitive compensation includes a salary range of CAD 90,000 to CAD 115,000 annually, along with vacation benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in safety or a related field.
• Experience on ICI, rail, or transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety programs across multiple sites.
• Conduct orientations and deliver HSE training.
• Handle incident investigations and analyze trends.
• Provide safety updates and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor site conditions and correct hazards.

Skills

Knowledge of HSE management systems

Incident investigation skills

Strong compliance knowledge

Proficiency in MS Office

Experience with online reporting tools

Education

Occupational Health & Safety diploma or equivalent
