Job summary

A leading general contracting firm in Ontario is seeking a Senior HSE Coordinator for its Buildings Division. You will manage health and safety programs across multiple sites, train and mentor staff, and engage clients on safety matters. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in safety, particularly in ICI, rail, or transportation projects. Competitive compensation includes a salary range of CAD 90,000 to CAD 115,000 annually, along with vacation benefits.

Graham is actively recruiting a Senior HSE Coordinator for the Buildings Division. Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, this role leads health and safety programs across multiple sites, acting as the primary safety expert for the project portfolio.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site
  • Lead Safety Programs – Manage health and safety across multiple sites and ensure compliance.
  • Train and Mentor – Conduct orientations, deliver HSE training, and guide HSE Coordinators.
  • Investigation and Report – Handle incident investigations, analyze trends, and maintain accurate safety records.
  • Engage Clients – Provide safety updates, reports, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement – Monitor site conditions, correct hazards, and support best practices.
The Right Tools for the Job
  • Education: Occupational Health & Safety diploma or equivalent; National Construction Safety Officer designation required.
  • Experience: 8+ years in safety or related field, with experience on ICI, rail, or transportation projects.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, incident investigation, and compliance; proficiency in MS Office and online reporting tools.
Compensation
  • Salary Range $90,000 to $115,000 per annum.
  • Salary will commensurate with education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience.
