Senior Freelance Graphic Designer (Branding + Campaign Creative)

What we’re looking for

BottomLine is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Graphic Designer to support our growing team on a freelance, as-needed basis. This role is essential in delivering high-impact brand and campaign creativity for our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in branding, advertising, and graphic design—preferably within a marketing agency. A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual brand identity, advertising campaigns, and creative direction is required, along with reliable references.

As this role focuses on brand identity, digital ad creative, and visual storytelling across channels (Meta, Google, YouTube, Programmatic, DOOH), a deep understanding of brand systems and cross-platform campaign design is a must. Additionally, candidates must have at least a B2 level of English proficiency to ensure effective communication and collaboration (this role will be entirely in English). What this role looks like
  • Working within our creative team to develop brand identities, campaign creative, and print/digital collateral that align with client strategy
  • Designing across platforms: Meta, Google, YouTube, and programmatic display
  • Creating high-quality visuals for print, billboards, and other physical formats
  • Collaborating with the Implementation Team to bring creative concepts to life
  • Managing multiple client projects simultaneously and ensuring design consistency across all touchpoints
  • Applying UX/UI principles to digital assets such as landing pages or ad experiences as needed

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary diploma and/or degree in Graphic Design is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in branding, advertising, or graphic design, preferably with a marketing agency
  • A minimum of a B2 level of English proficiency
  • Exceptional brand identity and campaign creative skills with a strong portfolio
  • Proficient in the following applications: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects or Premiere for light motion), Figma
  • Advanced Photoshop manipulation and compositing skills
  • Experience with physical and digital ad formats (print, billboard, digital banners, paid media creative)
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles for web and digital experiences
  • A strong eye for visual composition and typography
  • A savvy, results-oriented person with strong attention to detail and creativity
  • Approachable and a team player—as we are all about collaboration
