About the job

Twilio is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This will be a highly visible role, owning the full company P&L consolidation. The role will partner with Accounting, Tax, R&D FP&A, and Investor Relations to drive strategic decision making across the company.

Responsibilities
  • Lead weekly pacing process with internal FP&A partners to drive real time decision making by senior finance leadership
  • Consolidate monthly forecasts, annual budget, and long range plan for senior finance leadership
  • Collaborate with accounting for month-end close
  • Support creation of board and executive materials
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support business needs outside of the regular monthly and quarterly forecasts and rhythms
  • Support the quarterly earnings process

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of finance experience, ideally in a high growth Technology or Software/SaaS environment
  • Experience owning financial reporting and P&L consolidation
  • Strong financial and analytical skills and the ability to translate numbers into a narrative that is calibrated to the level of the intended audience
  • Project management and organizational skills, including the ability to partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Investor Relations teams across the organization
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in prose, presentations, and verbally to multiple levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to design new processes from the ground up and to reimagine existing processes for greater efficiency and impact
  • Commitment to building scalable solutions, with a focus on utilizing an AI-first approach
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures
  • Team- and company-first growth mindset
  • Previous experience in Corporate FP&A
  • Experience with Anaplan, Oracle
Location

This role will be remote, and based in Canada.

Travel
