Qualifications

Job description

Our client, a large financial institution, is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team for a 1 year contract to help with their IFRS 17 transition. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will backfill the existing team for month, quarter and year end insurance reporting including reconciliations and journal entries, documentation and streamlining of existing processes and supporting the IFRS 17 project as needed.

**This role is hybrid and will be in the office 1-2 times a week.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• 5+ years in an external reporting role
• Strong knowledge or experience in accounting for insurance
• Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables
• Experience with process documentation and improvements is nice to have
