Fortinet has an exciting opportunity for an experienced DevOps Specialist to join our FortiCloud operation team. We are managing consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes worldwide. Service reliability and security are our top priorities. This is a critical position for driving operational excellence and fostering collaboration between development and operations. Provide on-call support as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to produce high-quality, well-tested code.
• Create and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Administer Linux server platforms (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and manage applications on Kubernetes.
• Implement and monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Participate in incident response, including diagnosis, mitigation, and post-mortem analysis.
• Automate system provisioning and application deployment with Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to embed DevOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and tools.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a DevOps/Systems Engineer/SRE.
• Experience with Docker and application containerization.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, OpenStack, or others.
• Hands-on experience with Configuration as Code, especially Ansible.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies and deploying on Kubernetes with Helm.
• Experience with virtualization environments like VMware, KVM, and OpenStack.
• Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Strong Linux system administration experience on both bare-metal and virtual machines.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Basic networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP).
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Focus on continuous improvement, automation, and optimization in cloud environments.

Bonus Experience

• Certifications such as RHCE, Kubernetes, or CCIE.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 and container management tools.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

The salary range in Canada for this full-time position is expected to be between $112,000 and $137,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
