Job description

Your role as Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Reporting directly to the CISO, as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Dialogue, you will be a key contributor in safeguarding our healthcare platform and protecting user data. You will leverage your technical expertise to identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. This role involves leading security initiatives, developing security strategies, and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Threat Intelligence: Monitor and analyze security data to identify threats and vulnerabilities. Develop insights and metrics to improve security.
  2. Incident Response: Lead security incident investigations and resolutions. Conduct post-incident reviews for preventative measures.
  3. Security Drills: Participate in planning and executing threat response drills. Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery.
  4. Policy Development: Create and implement cybersecurity policies aligned with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO) and regulations (e.g., PIPEDA).
  5. Risk Assessments: Perform security assessments, manage risk register, oversee audits, and evaluate vendor security.
  6. Security Awareness: Develop security awareness materials and advise IT and Engineering teams on cybersecurity practices.

Qualifications we seek:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with increasing responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience in Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Network Security, and Identity & Access Management
  • Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, GCP, Okta) and Zero Trust concepts
  • Knowledge of NIST CSF, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, SSDLC
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc., are a plus
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash) are advantageous
