Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the management of acute medical admissions.
• Significant experience in a senior clinical role on an AMU.
• Knowledge of national guidelines relevant to acute medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership across inpatient beds.
• Accountable for clinical management of patients under care.
• Participate in the Trust's training programme.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Competency in common clinical emergency procedures

High level organisational skills

Experience in the use of POCUS or Echocardiography

Education

MRCP or equivalent

MD or other postgraduate qualification

Candidates must be on the GMC Specialist Register
