A growing professional services firm in Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Business Transformation team. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, leading workshops to develop technical requirements, and supporting multiple projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience, strong communication skills, and a background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. As a senior analyst on complex programs, work with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, collaborate on process models with an understanding of system capabilities, analyze data needs, assist in evaluating solutions, and ensure appropriate testing against requirements.
Work collaboratively within the Business Transformation team and with key colleagues across the firm including the Technology team and business subject matter experts in documenting functional, data, and technical requirements, and assist the project manager in developing project plans and business cases.
Facilitate workshops with both business and technical colleagues to gather information for the development of technical requirements.
Manage the prioritization of requirements for changes to our core systems.
Oversee data mapping for integration activity between applications.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other members of the cross‑functional team.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff.
