Schedule: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hrs per week
Story Behind the Need
- Business group: The CRM Global Technology Applications team supporting Global Banking & Markets Wholesale clients.
- Project: Salesforce project to digitize and integrate systems along the Client Lifecycle for wholesale banking. Responsible for working with consultants and business stakeholders to design and build the workflow and system integrations required. Remove barriers throughout the project enabling the development and deployment of quality solutions that meet these requirements.

Typical Day in Role / Responsibilities
- Work closely with end users and business teams to understand business needs, conduct gap analysis and requirements assessments as needed.
- Partner with Architecture on understanding the design and integration.
- Create impact analysis documents, user stories, and design workflows for implementation.
- Deliver and enhance new and current solutions and applications.
- Be involved in the full lifecycle of a project, producing actionable and complete specifications, writing production-quality code, and implementation.
- Understand existing database schema, identify gaps and recommend solutions.
- Design test sets and automate where possible, including functional and non-functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Support the solution in production (as needed).
- Improve end user experience by finding scalable solutions and addressing complex ad hoc queries.
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coach and train end users (as needed).
- Participate in and run SCRUM meetings (as needed).
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
- 10+ years’ experience as a BSA, with 3+ years’ experience as a technical lead.
- 2+ years’ recent experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Recent experience writing intermediate SQL/SoQL queries.
- Capital markets and global banking experience is required.
Nice-To-Have Skills
- Financial services experience is a plus around AML, KYC, and/or Compliance.

- Excellent communication skills to work across different business lines and with different users.
- Strong ability to work under pressure.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
Best vs Average
The ideal candidate will have very strong Salesforce experience. They would be a strong technical lead (not a people manager) with significant experience in integration and enterprise-level solutioning. Candidates should be data oriented.
Degrees or Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering) or related field. If not technical, ensure sufficient experience in similar roles supporting integration.
- Salesforce Certifications are highly preferred (Salesforce Admin is a plus).
Structure and Format
- 1st round: Video interview, panel discussion (technical and behavioral), 45-60 mins.
- 2nd round: Interview with Director (as needed), 30 mins.
- Hiring Manager’s availability to interview: ASAP.
Additional Notes
- This is not a people management role; we are seeking a Salesforce SME/technical solutioning lead.
- Lead title is not required so long as the scope of work in recent roles matches the level of request.
