Overview

Senior Brand Manager - Canada Coffee
Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid (3 days in-office)

They ask questions, find answers, and take the extra step to work towards a vision for future success while driving revenue and profit. As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.

The Senior Brand Manager – Canada Coffee will be responsible for delivering an annual and long-term brand strategy and financial operating plan specifically for Canada Coffee, informed by a deep understanding of the consumer, customer and category dynamics using the Brand Growth System framework, while leading a small team.

This role suits someone who is strategic, entrepreneurial, works independently, is comfortable with ambiguity, has a strong bias for action, and excellent communication skills. The person must be comfortable working across the organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward.

Responsibilities
  • Bring strong business acumen and strategic thinking to annual and long-term brand priorities and financial operating plan, informed by deep understanding of the consumer, customers and category dynamics.
  • Leverage consumption and business analytics to inform action plans that drive targets including share and margin enhancement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across finance, sales, R&D, operations, shopper marketing/communications, and consumer insights on initiatives such as distribution expansion, capacity planning, pricing/promo plans, innovation, and marketing support plans.
  • Lead renovation and/or innovation pipeline in service of the 3-year plan.
  • Oversee tactical execution of marketing budget, demand forecasting, sales/category stories, and commercialization efforts for the portfolio.
  • Coach, develop and motivate a team (1 direct report).
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and demonstrates strategic leadership with a drive for results.
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic capability in marketing plan development: situation assessment, strategy and tactical plan development.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort navigating the unknown.
  • Experience in cross-functional team management and the ability to handle multiple projects and timelines.
Compensation, Benefits & Wellbeing

New Hire Base Salary Range: $143,800.00 - $179,700.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
