Your contributions will focus on bringing the next generation of athlete performance data, across a variety of sports, to teams worldwide.
The Senior Biomechanics & Data Science Engineer will work alongside the larger KinaTrax product development team with a focus on biomechanics algorithm development and research across multiple sports-related markets. You will work closely with the Head of Biomechanics to identify novel methods for biomechanics use, aimed at providing actionable insights to our clients, for purposes of player development, player health monitoring, scouting, etc. You will be responsible for leading research and development initiatives aimed at establishing future ROI for current and prospective customers. You may also be asked to lead studies aimed at validating future computer vision and machine learning models for purposes of data reliability and consistency. At times, you may also be expected to meet with current and prospective clients for troubleshooting and inquiries related to KinaTrax supplied biomechanics datasets. As part of your role, you will collaborate with other members of the product development team on specific projects, where at times you may be expected to be a project lead, and delegate tasks to other members of the development team.
