Senior Associate, Merchant Strategy & Operations

The Merchant team is at the core of DoorDash. As one of the largest teams, it powers many facets of our business and drives growth and revenue. Our mission on the Merchant Strategy & Ops team is to offer best-in-class restaurant selection, develop innovative services for our merchants, and ensure seamless operations for our partners.

About the Role

We seek a proactive operator who enjoys data-driven problem solving. You will join our Merchant Growth team, focusing on sustainably increasing merchant sales by optimizing promotion strategies, managing significant budgets, and leading initiatives to accelerate merchant growth.

Your Responsibilities Include :

1. Strategy : Develop and implement initiatives aligned with the sales organization’s goal of "winning the merchant".
2. Experimentation : Conduct tests and market research using data analytics and sound judgment.
3. Optimization : Build and refine our merchant growth engine to maintain high-quality selection and merchant retention.
4. Partnership : Collaborate effectively with other teams, incorporate feedback, and support their success.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years in consulting, strategy, finance, analytics, or business operations.
2. Proven analytical problem-solving skills and experience managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
3. Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
4. Strong analytical mindset, with experience in SQL and financial modeling preferred.
