Overview

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic Lean Agile Center of Excellence as a key member to drive the adoption and implementation of Agile mindset, principles, and practices across our organization to achieve the benefits of delighted customers, faster time to market, enhanced predictability, increased productivity, improved quality and happier, more engaged employees. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. You will work closely with teams at all levels, from executive leadership to individual contributors, connecting strategy to execution.

What will you do?
  • Champion and support the Agile transformation journey across the organization, ensuring alignment between the business strategy and execution.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to promote Lean Agile principles and drive cultural change.
  • Lead the scaling of agile ways of working and continuously refine the organization’s agile playbook to ensure it aligns with evolving organizational needs and industry best practices.
  • Ensure effective communication and change management, the smooth adoption of agile methodologies, and address resistance to change.
  • Nurture high-performing teams by fostering collaboration, psychological safety, and accountability while addressing team dysfunctions and resolving conflicts.
  • Coach leadership in setting and achieving OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to ensure portfolio alignment with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate value stream mapping workshops to map customer centric operational value streams, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and optimize delivery of value.
  • Support the adoption of Lean Portfolio Management best practices by helping leaders prioritize initiatives, allocate resources effectively, and align investments with business outcomes.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and mentor key roles such as Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Managers (PMs), System Architects, Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
  • Prepare the team and lead them through Program Increment (PI) Planning, execution of the PI and Inspect and Adapt and teach them how to conduct the session themselves.
  • Conduct targeted workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching to build Agile capabilities and maturity. Empower teams to understand the "why" behind Agile practices and adopt a mindset of continuous learning.
  • Engage stakeholders, collaborate and build trust with cross-functional teams, including executives, managers, and individual contributors, to align Agile practices with organizational goals.
  • Mentor communities of practices such as Product Management / Owners, Release Train Engineers / Scrum Masters, Customer / User Experience and Design, DevOps and Engineering.
  • Lead organizational agile maturity assessments with growth action plans.
  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure Agile maturity and effectiveness.
What will you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Lean principles and as an Agile Coach in a large-scale Agile transformation environment.
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experienced in implementing scaled agile frameworks, especially SAFe, with familiarity of other frameworks such as LeSS, Nexus, and DA being an asset.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) or equivalent are preferred.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Jira, Confluence, Mural / Miro, Planview Agile Place.
  • Strong presentation design and delivery skills.
  • Knowledgeable on OKRs, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence and Jira Service Desk.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in lean six sigma, value stream mapping, team typologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Active listening, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution.
  • Able to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.

  • Objectives and Key Results Coaching: Facilitating the creation and tracking of OKRs.
  • Product Management Coaching: Guiding product managers in defining product vision, strategy, discovery and delivery.
  • DevOps Coaching: Promote DevOps and XP to ensure engineering best practices.
  • Customer/User Experience and Design Coaching: Incorporating user-centered design principles.
  • Leveraging Artificial Intelligence: Educate teams on integrating AI and machine learning into product development and decision-making processes.
