Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities - including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and review partnership equity interest calculation
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with electronic banking administration as required
  • Prepare subledger and general ledger reconciliations, supporting schedules, and working papers
  • Review the monthly and annual GST returns
  • Prepare multi-level consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures
  • Support quarterly and annual financial reporting, including working papers and disclosures
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation as required.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and organized supporting documentation.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives across the accounting function.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Experience working for a complex multi-entity organization, including exposure to consolidated financial statements
  • A CPA designation (an asset)
  • Strong understanding of ASPE, experience with REALpac (an asset)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills - you enjoy being part of a team that learns and grows together.
  • Real Estate industry experience (an asset)

  • $75,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
