Join a top employer and advance your career! Impact recruitment has partnered with a well-established non-profit that’s looking for an experienced accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate has at least four years of relevant experience.

About the Position
Reporting to the director of finance, the senior accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Prepare bank and account reconciliations.
  • Process general ledger journal entries and monthly AR invoices.
  • Work on the monthly budget and perform variance analysis.
  • Prepare year-end working papers and compile financial and statistical reports for funding authorities.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for financial procedures and ERP systems.
  • Process month- and year-end financial statements and collaborate with external auditors for year-end audits.
  • Mentor the junior accountant and address inquiries from managers and accounting staff regarding AR, AP, and operations.
  • Generate reports on service levels, revenue hours, and accruals for sick time, overtime, and vacation.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of accounting experience
  • Non-for-profit experience is required.
  • Designated or pursuing CPA
  • 5 days in office role.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000 to $95,000
  • 3 weeks’ vacation
