Overview

The Senior Accountant will support our installation and repair services business withing the Leon’s Furniture Group - LFL - of companies. The senior accountant will be responsible for accounting, reporting, budgeting and tracking of KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Month end close processes (preparation of journal entries, elimination entries, recurring entries and accruals, and account reconciliations) for the installation and repair services business.
  • Preparation of the monthly management report deliverables.
  • Assist with the interim and year-end audit.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Liaise with operational and other corporate departments.
  • Identify financial process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience with focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Designated accountant (CPA, CA preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS including technical accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management within the organization.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in the skilled trades industry considered asset.
  • Oracle (Fusion) experience and/or experience with LimeTAC is an asset.
