Overview:

The Maison Margiela Boutique Selling Supervisor will play a key role in leading and inspiring a team to provide an exceptional shopping experience. The Selling Supervisor will ensure sales targets are met, maintain high visual and operational standards, and support the overall performance of the store. The Selling Supervisor will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service along with supporting Client Advisors and partnering closely with the Store Manager. This position will be based at the Vancouver Oakridge Shopping Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Experience
  • Drive sales by leading by example and assisting customers with a personalized shopping experience.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of luxury products and trends to educate and inspire both customers and team members.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with VIP and loyal clients through clienteling strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise, train, and motivate sales associates to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance team performance and customer service standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of team members.
Store Operations & Visual Merchandising
  • Ensure the store operates efficiently by overseeing daily operations, including stock management and loss prevention.
  • Uphold brand visual and merchandising standards to enhance the store’s appeal.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management on restocking and product rotation.
Performance & Reporting
  • Analyze sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies and action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and luxury retail best practices.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in luxury retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, fashion, or a related field is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of luxury products, market trends, and high-end customer service expectations.
  • Software: Proficiency in POS systems and CRM tools.
