Position: Security Supervisor
Location:Downtown Site
Schedule:Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Position Overview

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring that security services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with client expectations. This position acts as the primary liaison between site staff, Property Management, and Paladin Security. The successful candidate will provide leadership, support, and guidance to security personnel, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Property Management and Paladin Security.
  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day site operations.
  • Conduct training, site orientation, and ongoing coaching for new and existing staff.
  • Set up access credentials and coordinate technology and equipment requirements for new officers.
  • Act as the Building Incident Commander during emergencies or critical incidents.
  • Manage the site schedule, ensuring appropriate shift coverage and operational continuity.
  • Review, update, and enforce post orders and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, patrols, and CCTV monitoring to maintain safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Security Supervisor, or equivalent leadership experience in security services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
