Overview

Security Implementation Consultant


On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Security Implementation Consultant to support the successful deployment of Dayforce, for clients with complex security and compliance requirements. Acting as a liaison between the client and internal implementation team resources, and cybersecurity stakeholders, the candidate will consult on how to align HCM solution delivery with established security standards, frameworks, and public sector regulatory expectations.


The successful candidate will work as a subject matter expert on HCM security assurance, responding to client requests for evidence of compliance with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and Canadian Public sector requirements like PBMM or ITSG-33. The candidate will consult internally to gather the necessary documentation, artifacts, and platform specific details, helping ensure clients can confidently proceed to go-live with the Dayforce platform.


Responsibilities


  • Consult with the client and internal teams to interpret and address security and compliance requirements during implementation of Dayforce

  • Respond to the client requests for assurance by coordinating and delivering evidence aligned to standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, NIST CSF, and Canadian public sector frameworks (e.g. PBMM, ITSG-22, CCCS)

  • Liaise with internal cybersecurity, privacy, and product teams to source documentation, data flow diagrams, control details, or third-party certifications needed

  • Advise project managers and stakeholders on implementation risks related to security posture and compliance readiness

  • Support clients through security assessments by helping them understand how Dayforce meets their regulatory obligations

  • Track, document, and escalate unresolved compliance gaps, risks, or clarifications to the appropriate internal stakeholders

  • Help ensure successful outcomes in formal third-party assessments, including CCCS Security assessments, cloud readiness reviews, or internal audits

  • Work with project managers to maintain checklists and project governance documents


Skills and Experience we Value


  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in solution architecture or HCM delivery

  • Strong experience designing and implementing Dayforce HCM Solutions, including system extensibility, configuration, and integration with third-party platforms

  • Solid understanding of cloud-based SaaS application security principles and best practices for data privacy and secure integrations

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO 27001 / 27002, SOC 2 Type I / II

  • Knowledge of Canadian frameworks (e.g. ITSG-33, PBMM) considered an asset

  • Experience collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and compliance groups to align solution delivery with functional and security requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions

  • Relevant certification (e.g. Dayforce Certifications, security or Project Management certification) are an asset but not required

  • Must possess, or be eligible to receive a federal security clearance
