Qualifications

• Advanced security or tactical training preferred but not required.
• Must have either Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced First Aid Training.

Position Overview

Job Skills / Requirements

• Location: Okanagan Region
• Rate: $23.50 - $31.00 (hourly rate varies based on the shift and site)

Responsibilities

• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and critical situations
• Provide tactical support and reinforcement to frontline security teams
• Conduct high-visibility patrols and proactive threat deterrence
• Safeguard high-value assets and sensitive environments
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required
• Maintain detailed incident reporting and situational awareness
• Serve as a role model of professionalism, discipline, and integrity

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License
• BC Class 5 driver\'s license and reliable vehicle is preferred
• Advanced security or tactical training (use of force, crisis intervention, defensive tactics, etc.) are preferred, but not required
• Must have either Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced First Aid Training
• Minimum 1 year of experience in security preferred (Industrial/Healthcare/Campus)
• Physical ability to respond to demanding situations
• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work under pressure with sound judgment and discretion
