Job Type: Casual Salary: $16.00 - $16.80

Shift: Various Shifts

Overview: We are looking for diligent and reliable security guards to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform foot patrols of the premises and nearby areas.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or individuals.
• Prevent and identify theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
• Document incidents thoroughly and maintain daily records.
• Enforce policies, rules, and regulations.
• Handle conflicts in a calm and efficient manner.
• Communicate with team members via radio and cell phone.
• Follow emergency protocols and respond to alarms as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety and security guidelines.

Requirements

• Valid Alberta security guard license.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client‑specific sites.
• Experience with report writing and note‑taking.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
