A leading aviation company is seeking Seasonal Seaplane Pilots for the AT802 Fire Boss positions, running from April to September 2026. Applicants must possess a valid Commercial Pilot License or ATPL, with significant experience in both PIC and turbine flying. Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Commercial Pilot License or ATPL – Fixed wing.
  • Experience of at least 2500 hrs PIC and 1000 hrs Turbine required.
  • Have a valid Canadian driver license recognized federally.

Responsibilities

  • Fly for Forest Protection between 06 APR and 15 SEP 2026.
  • Complete the FPL ground and flight training program.
  • Communicate effectively in English during operations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Commercial Pilot License or ATPL – Fixed wing
  • A valid IFR is an asset
  • 2500 hrs PIC
  • 1000 hrs Turbine
  • 2000 Float PIC – 200 Amphib

All Applicants Must
  • Be legally permitted to work in Canada in the Federal Aviation Sector
  • Hold a Canadian Commercial Pilot – Fixed Wing license or the Transport Canada–recognized international equivalent.
  • Hold a Canadian Category 1 medical certificate.
  • Have flying experience within the last 12 months.
  • Successfully complete FPL ground and flight training program, including a pilot competency check.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
  • Be capable of obtaining a clean Criminal Background Check.
  • Hold a valid Canadian driver license or a federally recognized international license.
  • Capable of obtaining a clean Driver Abstract.
  • Hold a passport valid for at least 30 days after the end of any employment.
  • Have CSA approved footwear.
  • Have a modern smartphone with an up‑to‑date operating system capable of running secure company communication apps, as well as a laptop or device capable of accessing e‑mail and suitable for reading small print, such as for exams.
Restrictions
  • Must hold Transport Canada Licence, Medical.
  • Must have legal right to live/work in Canada.
  • No Foreign Pilot Visas or Sponsorships.
