Overview

On behalf of our Healthcare sector client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Scrum Master / Senior Business Analyst to lead cross-functional collaboration to implement a scanning and document management solution. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage backlog items, and drive consensus across technical and business teams. Analyze solution options, identify risks, and support integration, testing, training, and deployment. Contribute to documentation and ensure alignment with records management and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

Scrum Master role:

  • Initiation to include creating project vision and identifying stakeholders.
  • With support of other project Scrum Master(s) create/maintain the product backlog and participate in release planning.
  • Planning and estimating work items including user stories, tasks, sprint backlog, etc.
  • Participating in routine Scrum meetings such as Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Regular status updates to other project Scrum Master(s) and the Steering Committee.
  • Implementation of the scanning and document management solution that integrates with the existing Housing New Brunswick (HNB) COTS solution, including creating various project deliverables and participating in the rollout to production.

Business Analyst role:

  • Analysing the scanning and document management options currently identified as well as other potential options used both within GNB and externally.
  • Gathering Requirements
  • Identifying issues and risks
  • Implementation support of the solution that integrates with the existing Housing New Brunswick (HNB) COTS solution.
  • Working with the HNB Change Manager/Trainer to production of how to documents, SOPs and other supporting documents to be used by the HNB Maintenance and Support Team.
  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing
  • Conducting other Business Analyst tasks as required
Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst supporting service delivery information systems
  • Minimum 3 years’ IM/IT experience with scanning and document management solutions integrated with existing IT systems (e.g., ConsignO, OpenText Content Manager, or similar)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)

Scored Requirements:

  • Experience facilitating workshops, capturing business/user requirements, designing processes, and implementing IT solutions
  • Experience with scanning and document management solutions integrated with existing IT systems
  • Experience leading Scrum Master activities: daily standups, PI planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog administration, collaboration with product owners, and impediment removal
  • Experience supporting information systems for government service delivery agencies
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Experience working with Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions
