Agilus is recruiting for a Sales Manager in the Steel Industry in Red Deer, Alberta.

You will lead the sales team and provide exceptional customer service and solutions to a wide variety of new and existing customers.

You will :

1. Implement industry-leading sales and marketing initiatives to support the branch business plan as you meet the KPI targets
2. Work with the senior management team to develop and manage goals, systems, business plans and operating budgets
3. Liaise with Branch Manager and Purchasing Manager to ensure sufficient product is available to meet customer demand while meeting corporate inventory goals
4. Work with Operations and CAD departments to ensure profitability on metals processing orders
5. Lead and manage 3-4 sales staff by providing leadership, training and development for Inside and Outside Sales Representatives

The successful candidate brings :

1. Minimum 3 years sales management experience within the steel industry
2. Strong analytical, time management, organizational and performance management skills
3. Effective communication skills
4. Post-secondary education in Business Administration / Marketing or Metallurgy
5. Previous purchasing experience
