Primary Responsibilities

The primary responsibility for the position is to provide the Customer Development team with completion of day-to-day administrative activities, projects, research and ad hoc requests. Liaise with other Sales teams, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service and / or IT departments on a daily basis. Essential Functions
  • Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food).
  • Work with Customer Development Managers (CDMs) and Territory Managers to prepare Customer plans and ensure changing business and/or account needs are adapted into the plans.
  • Work with CDMs to develop, present and track Customer product presentations and promotions Preparation of account specific documents, item maintenance forms and promotional forms.
  • Ensure data integrity of product pricing and promotions including Tree of Life’s system and Customer portal verification and accurate and timely field sales communication.
  • Maintain and reconcile presented and approved customer promotional trade spend.
  • Compile spreadsheets utilizing information/statistics retrieved from AS400, Cognos and customer specific system POS systems.
  • Liaison and build relationships with customer head office for administrative issues such as UPC’s, samples, account specific form completion, pricing etc.
  • Prepare new listing/delisting documents and ensure accurate and timely distribution to Sales / Marketing Departments.
  • Prepare documentation of customer cost changes and other forms as required.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
  • University or college degree/diploma and or equivalent experience in a sales office environment supporting multiple individuals.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience on customer portals and AS400 is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must be results-driven, resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects and strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to get along with diverse personalities.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment with ever changing needs.
