Company Overview

Rocscience is a global leader in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering software solutions. With over 30 years of expertise, we develop innovative, user-friendly tools that enable engineers and researchers to analyze and design safe, efficient, and sustainable structures. Our cutting-edge software suite supports professionals working in rock, soil, and ground engineering worldwide. At Rocscience, we foster a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where cutting-edge technology meets practical engineering challenges, and we are committed to continuous innovation and customer success.

Role Overview

Step into a high impact, high visibility role at the heart of our Global Enterprise. You will own the metrics that power our strategy—ARR, NRR, GRR—and shape how the entire organization understands performance. You’ll dive deep into retention, churn, and cohort analytics to uncover insights that drive smarter forecasting, stronger customer outcomes, and sustained revenue expansion.

In this role, you’ll work across large, complex datasets to build models, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting that influence decisions at the highest level—from product strategy to board conversations. You’ll collaborate closely with Finance and Sales to elevate data quality, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and continuously refine how we measure the business. You’ll also play a key role in budgeting, planning, and even M&A analysis as we scale.

If you thrive in fast-moving environments, love turning complex data into clear direction, and enjoy being the Go-To expert on sales performance metrics, this role puts you at the center of it all.

This is a vacant role with expected total compensation of $110,000 - $150,000 CAD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with SaaS best practices, own and define core SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR) and ensure consistent definitions across the organization.
  • Develop and analyze retention, churn, and cohort reporting to support revenue forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Perform advanced data manipulation and modeling across large and complex datasets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, Product) to improve reporting and insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for executive leadership.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives.
  • Support board reporting, including functional P&L tracking and operational KPI’s.
  • Validate data integrity across CRM, billing, and financial systems (i.e., Salesforce).
  • Assist with M&A-related financial analysis, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration support (as applicable).
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, tools, and data accuracy.
What we are looking for
  • Strong hands-on experience with ARR reporting and SaaS financial reporting.
  • Proven expertise in retention and churn analysis.
  • Expert-level data manipulation skills (advanced Excel, SQL, or similar tools).
  • Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles and subscription business models.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage multiple analytical workstreams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to M&A transactions or integration work.
  • Background in high-growth or VC/PE-backed SaaS technology environments.
