Job summary

A healthcare practice in Ontario is seeking a Salaried General Practitioner to join a busy multidisciplinary team. This role offers the chance to support and care for a diverse patient group with TIER2 visa sponsorship available. Candidates must possess GMC Registration and be prepared to make autonomous decisions regarding patient care. The practice is well-rated and features a strong management and nursing team.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration.
  • Experience with patients having undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct surgery consultations and follow-up telephone consultations.
  • Provide health education and counselling to patients.
  • Record clear consultation notes in accordance with agreed standards.

This advert is to recruit a doctor who is working as a General Practitioner in UK or is a newly qualified General Practitioner. We have TIER2 visa sponsorship as well. Hampton Medical Centre is currently looking for a Salaried GP to join our busy practice for 4 - 8 sessions a week. Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group.

About The Candidate You must have the following qualifications:

Fully qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration

Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self referred or referred from other health care workers within the Practice.

Main duties of the job

In accordance with the Practicetimetable, as agreed, the post holder will make him/herself available toundertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephoneconsultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signingrepeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence ina timely fashion.

Making professional, autonomousdecisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self referred or referredfrom other health care workers within the Practice.

Assessing the health care needs ofpatients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.

Screening patients for disease riskfactors and early signs of illness.

In consultation with patients and inline with current practice disease management protocols, develop care plans forhealth.

About The Practice

We are a rapidly growing practice in Hampton area of Peterborough, high QOF achieving practice, good CQC rating, a training practice which is not having GP trainees only but also supervises Cambridge and Leicester medical students. We have several ARRS roles e.g Clinical Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, Social Prescriber Link Worker, Assistant General Practitioner working in the practice.

We have a strong nursing team with ANPs, Practice nurse and triage nurse

Our management team consists of Business Manager and Reception Manager

Job responsibilities

Providing counselling and health education.

Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate.

Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
