Job summary

A community health center is seeking a locum Family Physician on Galiano Island, British Columbia. In this role, you will provide family medicine care and serve as an Emergency walk-in physician when necessary. The position requires BC medical licensure and ACLS certification, with a start date of November 2024. Competitive remuneration is available through the Rural Subsidiary Agreement. Experience in family medicine is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience in family medicine is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide family medicine care in a clinic setting.
• Serve as Emergency walk-in physician when needed.
• Attend orientation with MOAs on the first morning.
• Manage administrative time during the final afternoon of the rotation.
• Provide evening/overnight on-call on designated dates.
