Job Description

Nanowave Technologies Inc. is looking for an RF Technologist with strong hands-on laboratory RF prototype development, characterization, and testing skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Prototype hardware development: Assembly and testing of prototype frequency sources, including power supplies and computer control interfaces.
2. Testing and Measurement: Configuration of RF test benches, collection of laboratory measurements, first-article testing, design tuning, and production testing. Use and calibration of standard RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Phase Noise Test Set, Power Meter, and Oscilloscope.
3. Maintenance: Maintain an orderly laboratory environment.
4. Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a diverse and highly skilled team of engineering and production colleagues, including mechanical, software, monitor & control, EPC, thermal, and thin film specialists.
5. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of prototype configurations and tests.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum: Completion of a two- or three-year college program in electrical or electronics engineering technology, computer engineering technology, telecommunications technology, or an equivalent. 5+ years of industry experience as an RF or Microwave Technologist.
2. Preferred: Certification in electrical or electronics engineering technology or related fields through provincial associations. 10+ years of industry experience in RF or Microwave Technology, with specific experience in frequency synthesizers, phase-locked loops, and signal sources.
