Responsibilities
  • Design, evaluate and fault find the RF portion of reference designs for WiFi products working with high-end technology customers and strategic partners
  • Tuning and DVT testing of WiFi product reference designs for high-end technology customers and strategic partners
  • Working with Sales and Marketing to define new products for RF and Mixed-Signal Intelligence Solutions (RMI) business unit
  • Characterization and validation of RF devices
  • Design, test, documentation and maintenance of application and evaluation boards
  • Writing application notes, guidelines, and presentation for products
  • Investigation, analysis and reporting on device anomalies
  • Competitive analysis
Required Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Good technical understanding of analog/RF components
  • Hands on experience with transmitter and receiver RF measurements
  • Familiar with RF PCB level design
  • Highly organized with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues in different locations and time zones
  • Proactive approach to work with internal and external customer to solve issues
Desired Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in RF semiconductor or module manufacturer company
  • RF system level design background
  • Knowledge of digital wireless standards
  • Experience with new semiconductor product introduction and ramp to high volume production
  • Python coding and LabView test automation
Compensation and Benefits

The typical base pay range for this role is currently CAD$69,200 -$111,000 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and the ultimate job duties and requirements. Benefits include access to healthcare, a retirement plan company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock. These incentives and awards are based on individual and/or company performance.
