Position Overview

Thompson Houston is recruiting for Cook 3 - Lead Line. Join our hotel team as we launch a new destination restaurant concept within Thompson Houston Hotel. This position is available to start immediately and will be part of a new restaurant relaunch this summer. The 3‑meal dining venue includes an expanded 1‑acre pool deck serving hotel guests and residents, luxury cabanas, private event spaces, indoor‑outdoor dining areas and the best views of downtown.

Responsibilities: This culinary position requires good communication skills as well as at least three years of previous line and fine dining experience. A Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills, including the preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying and broiling. This person may be required to give direction in the supervisor’s absence.
