Experience
  • Previous experience supervising staff, preferably in a unionized environment, is required.
  • Proficiency in computerized systems (windows environment, word processors, spreadsheets and databases).
  • Related experience in a healthcare field.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Recognized post‑secondary certificate and/or diploma in a health services or social sciences field required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle.

  • Exceptional organization and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and to prioritize a large complex workload to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cultural diversity as it relates to clients and staff.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
