Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the work of Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and address performance concerns.
  • Act as a resource to staff in performing duties.
  • Lead the promotion of resident‑centered care.
  • Communicate with residents, family members, and care teams.

Skills

Unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current CPR and First‑Aid certification
Certification in gerontological nursing
Training in Gentle Persuasive Approach
Experience in dementia care and palliative care
