Job Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct research projects at the intersection of deep learning and bioinformatics. Establish design and development of research methods, data collection and analysis, and the interpretation of results.
• Oversee and assist in the development and execution of experiments, data collection and processing, analysis, and compilation of results.
• Develop and implement new methods based on large language models, contrastive learning, generative and causal artificial intelligence.
• Adapt and apply advanced deep learning tools for research purposes.
• Write articles related to research activities.
• Assist with the preparation of grant applications.
• Assist and supervise student research and code development.
• Provide administrative support, including website updates, new student onboarding, and lab organization.
• Assist with system administration tasks, mainly relating to the administration of the lab servers.
