A leading global expert firm in Toronto is seeking a Research Analyst to support consulting teams with research and analysis. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has at least 1 year of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is essential. The Research and Intelligence team supports consulting teams across practices and industries at FTI Consulting in providing the research and analysis needed to deliver engagements and pitches and develop intellectual capital. The research analyst’s core responsibilities revolve around handling requests from consultants and supporting seniors in the team in developing internal products and services. The analyst also handles some knowledge management and admin tasks to help the team manage its portfolio of services.
Support requests from all project and business development teams.
Independently handle low complexity of requests with minimal to no guidance from seniors.
Support the team in developing internal products and services across industries.
Present findings in a clear and structured way.
Deliver error-free and exhaustive research outcomes.
Develop knowledge on the industries supported to build subject matter expertise path through ongoing learning and development.
Deliver timely and consistent admin-based tasks.
Master all internal processes in the team and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support seniors in handling projects’ wrap-up and related knowledge management efforts.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
1+ years of post-graduate professional experience in a professional services organization/research role
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (including Excel and Powerpoint)
Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with secondary research and research databases
