Job summary

A healthcare technology company is looking for a Software Developer to develop and maintain software components critical to their FHIR-based platform. This position is remote, allowing applicants from anywhere in Canada. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to gather requirements, conducting technical evaluations, and mentoring junior developers. Candidates should have a degree in Software Development and at least five years of experience, preferably with knowledge in HL7, Hibernate, and REST services.

Qualifications

• Completed coding camp/diploma/undergraduate degree combined with about five years of experience with software development.
• Experience developing software applications, unit and functional test practices, and end-to-end feature development.
• Experience in HL7 (V2, FHIR) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate requirements and propose high-level design solutions.
• Work with Tier1 support team to diagnose and correct issues.
• Support the mentoring of Tier 1 Service Desk staff and other developers.
