Overview

Registration and Program Assistant (Bilingual - French) role at York University. Provides bilingual (English and French) support to Custom Project Leaders / Directors with corporate and international accounts. Performs translation of client documents between French and English, prepares custom seminars (in both languages), and acts as a bilingual front-line contact for executives seeking Executive Education programs. Receives and processes client registrations in English and French and maintains accurate registration records. Manages invoicing in accordance with SEEC and client billing specifications, including collection of overdue payments and ensuring invoice accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide bilingual (English / French) support to Custom Project Leaders / Directors for corporate and international accounts.
  • Translate client documents between French and English as required.
  • Prepare custom seminars (English and French), including preparing and printing materials and binders or electronic materials.
  • Serve as bilingual front-line contact for executives wishing to take Executive Education programs.
  • Receive and process English and French client registrations; maintain accurate and complete registration records.
  • Invoice clients in accordance with billing specifications; collect from tardy clients; ensure accuracy of client invoices.
Qualifications

Education :

  • Completion of related post-secondary courses or training in a related field (such as event planning, office administration, communication).

Experience :

  • Two (2) years of related experience (e.g., customer service, administrative support, liaising with diverse contacts, event planning, public / corporate engagement) in a unionized and service-oriented environment.
