Job summary

A leading home care provider is seeking experienced LPN/RN/RPNs to assist with 1:1 client care in Sutton, Ontario. Responsibilities include administering medication, measuring vital signs, and documenting patient changes. Valid nursing license and CPR certification are required. Qualifications

  • Must have a valid nursing license and be registered in good standing with CNO.
  • CPR certification and First Aid training are required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer syringes and monitor health status.

  • Collect and process biologic specimens for laboratory.
  • Administer ECG and conduct drug tests.

Overview

Right at Home is looking for experienced, professional LPN/RN/RPN to add to our team of exceptional Nurses and assist with 1:1 client care in Sutton, Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Bolus syringe-feeds 4 x daily via Mikey monitor for aspiration/overall health status, seizures, medication administration, personal care, light meal prep
  • Measure vital signs (blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate, and respiration rate)
  • Collect, label, process, and package biologic specimens for shipment to the central laboratory
  • Administration of 12-lead ECG
  • Facilitating investigational medicinal product (IMP) accountability
  • Completing urine pregnancy tests and urine drug tests
  • Assess and record changes in signs or symptoms, as reported by the patient
  • Conduct study drug review
  • Complete visit documentation
