As a Registered Practical Nurse, your typical day will include:

• Preparing and administering prescribed medications and treatments as directed, in accordance with standards.
• Documenting concerns and complaints from clients, families, or team members, and seeking assistance as needed.
• Promoting clients' self-care, wellness, and preventative health education.
• Completing assessments, care plans, and documentation within required timeframes.
• Supporting unregulated care workers through guidance, training, and education.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Must haves :

• Current registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
• Current Medication Administration Certificate
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare, or Rehabilitation
• Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario applicants)
• Successful Criminal Records Check (British Columbia applicants)
