A community health service provider in Chilliwack, BC is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Home and Community Care Team. This part-time position involves providing culturally safe care within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have significant community nursing experience and a valid BCCNM registration. Salary ranges from $46.00 to $56.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience, along with benefits.
REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
Stó:lō Service Agency (SSA) requires the services of a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a vacancy with the Home and Community Care Team (in community).
The RN works within a multidisciplinary health team and provides support to help promote community and family health that is timely, person-centered, continuous, high-quality, and culturally safe. The RN practices in accordance with the standards and the Code of Ethics set out by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Practice is also aligned with the vision, mission, goals, and values of SSA. Care is provided in a “Good Way” with respect to cultural safety and cultural practices, is family-centered and emphasizes the promotion of healthy living and the prevention and treatment of disease through connection to other supports.
This position reports to the Nursing Supervisor and the successful candidate will work out of the Central (Chilliwack) office. Some travel may be required for this position.
SALARY RANGE: $46.00-$56.00 per hour and based on qualifications/experience.
Part-time (3) days per week with benefits, subject to 3-month probationary period and planned performance evaluations.
