Job summary

A childcare organization located in Barrie, Ontario, is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join their team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for children, maintaining a safe environment, and collaborating with families and staff to support children's growth. The ideal candidate will be a registered RECE member and have First Aid certification. Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, Government Wage Enhancement offered on top of hourly pay

Job Type: Full-Time

What will you be doing?
  • Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
  • Maintaining an environment that protects the well‑being of children.
  • Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discussing progress with parents and other staff.
  • Establishing collaborative relationships with co‑workers, management, and families.
  • Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
  • Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) – must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
