Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• A minimum of three years of practical experience in clinical dietetics.
• Experience working in an inpatient mental health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition and dietetic services for clients in inpatient mental health settings.
• Promote nutritional wellness and optimal nutritional management for clients.
• Guide clients in their transition to independent living.

Skills

Knowledge of the needs of clients with moderate to severe mental illness

Ability to conduct nutrition assessments

Knowledge of relevant legislation

Ability to communicate clearly

Demonstrated positive interpersonal communication skills

Education

Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
