What We Need
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy, and in close collaboration with the regional management team, the Marketing Manager plays a strategic role by implementing local marketing initiatives in alignment with the corporate strategy. At the same time, he or she acts as a commercial delegate, prospecting for new partners and identifying business opportunities to expand the network and drive sales. This key position actively contributes to business development, partnership management, and the planning and execution of events aimed at promoting and enhancing the Thermea Spa Village brand.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement strategies that promote growth, engagement, and organizational culture.
- Participate in the development and adaptation of the spa’s marketing strategy according to the specifics of the local market, in alignment with the company’s overall strategy.
- Target, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships to support visibility and growth objectives, while ensuring the profitability of these partnerships. This includes negotiating agreements, monitoring existing partnerships, and evaluating their profitability.
- Identify and proactively capitalize on new business opportunities to increase brand visibility and generate revenue.
- As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the management team to develop targeted sales initiatives adapted to the local market. This includes managing influencer partnerships, coordinating media and tourism visits, as well as negotiating strategic partnerships. The main objective is to maximize sales, attract new customers, and strengthen engagement with key audiences to support brand growth.
- Select, develop, and / or participate in local events that help boost brand awareness and image. This responsibility includes planning, organizing logistics, and managing events from start to finish.
- Collaborate closely with the spa management team to understand the site’s specific marketing needs and tailor local marketing strategies accordingly. Serve as the go-between for the corporate office and the spa for the implementation of the marketing strategy.
- Oversee the Christmas Kiosk program, ensuring full campaign planning from initial strategy to on-the-ground execution. This includes recruiting and managing a dedicated team, organizing operations, and implementing all necessary actions to achieve set objectives.
- Act as an ambassador for the Thermea Spa Village brand during local events, business meetings, trade shows, and other networking events.
- Monitor implemented marketing actions and measure the effectiveness of initiatives in terms of visibility, engagement, and ROI. Produce regular reports and event reviews.
- Participate in the development and supervision of content production for social media and other communication channels, such as public relations and internal communications, in alignment with the company’s global communications strategy.
Qualifications
- College or university diploma in marketing, communication, public relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of experience in marketing and communications in a similar role.
- Experience in wellness, tourism, or spa sectors is considered an asset.
- Strategic marketing and partnership management experience, with an ability to develop local initiatives while respecting the overarching strategy.
- Skills in event and project management, as well as negotiating with external partners.
- Proactivity and initiative, allowing you to spot business opportunities and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills, an ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to collaborate with various departments to achieve shared goals.
- In-depth knowledge of the graphic design production chain (design, printing, etc.).
- Strong partnership and project management skills.
- Strong organizational sense, ability to work under pressure and manage several projects at once.
- Excellent command of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
